An all-new way to experience WOW beyond the stage – award-winning garments, roaming performance, and reimagined dining or high tea, steps from the show.
Taste of WOW is a brand-new limited series of curated dining and high tea experiences launching during the 2026 WOW Show: GLO! season that will bring audiences closer than ever to award-winning wearable art.
"WOW has always sparked curiosity - people don't just want to see the garments on stage, they want to get closer, look longer and discover more." Meg Williams, Chief Executive, World of WearableArt
Designed as an immersive, social experience - guests will journey through the space, encountering wearable art up close, discovering the unexpected materials and masterful craftspersonship behind each piece, and enjoying moments of surprise, storytelling, and performance along the way.
The menu is being developed in collaboration with InterContinental Wellington's Executive Chef Carl Maunder, who has 20+ years of experience in fine dining. Maunder is crafting a menu inspired by the colour, texture, and theatricality of WOW's award-winning designs - translating the artistry of the garments into flavour and form.
"Drawing inspiration from these garments will take things to another level, with so many possibilities to bring a beautiful moment from stage to taste." InterContinental Wellington’s Executive Chef Carl Maunder
Gracing the experience will be Worn Landscape by New Zealand's Cushla O'Connell - the 2025 winner of both the Wētā Workshop Outstanding Design Award and the Aotearoa Section - alongside other award-winning garments and finalists from last year's competition.
With more than 30,000 visitors expected in Wellington for the show, Taste of WOW offers a perfect way to extend your WOW experience - just a stone's throw from the TSB Arena, and perfectly timed to complement the performance schedule.
