Dining, Reimagined
Taste of WOW reimagines dining as a roaming, artful experience inspired by the diversity and contrasts of award-winning WOW garments. Moving beyond a traditional seated format, guests will explore, encounter and discover. Here, food becomes more than a meal; it’s a sensory journey of colour, texture, and form.
There are two immersive 75-minute experiences to choose from:

Taste of WOW is hosted at the InterContinental Wellington in the heart of Wellington City, a short stroll from the WOW Show.
Taste of wow FAQs
Do I have to attend the WOW Show to book this experience?
No (but you totally should, of course!). Anyone is welcome to book the Taste of WOW experiences with or without a WOW Show ticket. The Dining Experience is designed as a pre‑show event, but it can be booked on its own. The High Tea Experience is independent of show times.
Do I need to book both the WOW Show and Taste of WOW events at the same time?
WOW Show tickets and Taste of WOW tickets are purchased individually, and you can book them together or separately. When purchasing your WOW Show tickets, you’ll have the option to add a Taste of WOW ticket/s of your choice, or you can return to purchase at a later date.
What type of food is served? Are there vegetarian/vegan/gluten‑free options?
Each Taste of WOW event offers an artful menu designed by InterContinental Wellington's expert culinary team, served from curated dining stations.
A range of dietary requirements are catered for and labelled, with vegetarian, vegan, gluten‑free and dairy-free options available.
Are drinks included in the ticket price?
The ticket includes an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink on arrival. Tea and coffee will be available at the High Tea Experience. Additional drinks will be available for purchase.
How long does each experience run for?
Each Taste of WOW experience runs for 75 minutes.
The timing aligns with the WOW Show for those attending - allowing plenty of time to travel the short distance and get settled at the TSB Arena ready for the show.
Who will the High Tea Experience speakers be?
The speaker joining the Taste of WOW host will vary by session, giving a range of exclusive insights into World of WearableArt.
Are children or families welcome?
Yes. Both experiences are family‑friendly, though we’d recommend the content and speaker sessions are primarily designed for those 8+. We do not offer children's ticket prices.
Where is the InterContinental in relation to TSB Arena?
InterContinental Wellington is just a brief, easy stroll from TSB Arena - approximately 3 minutes.
Is this venue fully accessible?
Yes. InterContinental Wellington offers full accessibility, including elevators, accessible restrooms, and step‑free access to the event spaces.
Moving between InterContinental Wellington and the TSB Arena is a short, level urban walk of roughly 200m, which typically takes around 3 minutes on foot.
For those with mobility considerations, the route follows central Wellington footpaths, which are generally wide and flat, and includes crossing two city streets.
