Firebird, Susan Holmes, New Zealand (2009) ready to embark on the WOW My Town roadtrip

This year WOW is celebrating its 30th anniversary show and to celebrate our friends at Mazda NZ are driving the first-ever WOW My Town roadshow across New Zealand!

The roadshow will kick off on the North Island in Auckland and will make it’s way down the country to Queenstown before returning to Wellington ready for the 2018 WOW show season.

Travelling across the country on the roadshow will be three WOW models wearing award-winning garments; Firebird, Susan Holmes, New Zealand (2009 WOW Factor Award Winner), Princess Niwareka, Maria Tsopanaki & Dimitri Mavinis, United Kingdom (2016 Aotearoa Section Winner) and The Stitch Witch, Sarah Seahorse & Luna Aquatica, Victoria University, Australia (2015 International Award: Australia & Pacific).

At each stop off point, New Zealanders are invited to come and see these spectacular garments up close and in detail, and we’re encouraging members of the public to share their own WOW memories and experiences with us in a memory bank. These memories will created into a film that will feature in an installation at the 2018 WOW HUB on Wellington’s waterfront to help celebrate 30 years of the WOW Awards Show.
