Earning Points

Members earn 1 Point for every NZD $25 spent on Eligible Purchases.

Points are calculated using Swedish rounding.

Points are awarded once the purchase transaction has been successfully completed and paid for.

Points are earned on the ticket purchase price (including GST, if applicable) and do not apply to:

  • booking or service fees
  • credit card surcharges; or
  • other ancillary charges unless otherwise stated.

Points are typically credited to the Member’s WOW Account within 24 hours of purchase.

Although membership is only available to individuals and companies, Points may be earned on Eligible Purchases that are:

  • single ticket purchases;
  • multiple tickets purchased within a single transaction; and/or
  • group purchases made through a Member’s WOW Account.

Points are only awarded for Eligible Purchases purchased through official WOW ticketing channels.

Tickets purchased through third-party resellers or unauthorised channels are not Eligible Purchases and therefore not eligible for Points.

Value of Points

Each Point has a redemption value of NZD $1 when applied to an Eligible Purchase.

Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or gift cards.

Points may only be redeemed as described in these Terms and Conditions.

Redeeming Points

Points may be redeemed when purchasing WOW Show tickets through the official WOW ticket purchasing system.

If Points are available in the Member’s WOW Account, the option to apply them will appear during checkout.

Points cannot currently be redeemed for:

WOW is not required to notify Members about the expiry, or upcoming expiry, of any Points.

Expired Points cannot be reinstated.

  • return the Points to the Member’s account; or
  • adjust the refund amount to reflect the value of Points used.
  • WOW reserves the right to correct errors in the allocation of Points.
  • WOW is not required to provide notice or compensation for any Points adjusted.

If a ticket purchase that earned Points is refunded or cancelled, the corresponding Points may be removed from the Member’s account.

If Points were redeemed against a purchase that is later refunded or cancelled, WOW may (at its discretion):

Refunds, Cancellations and Adjustments

Any attempt to transfer or sell Points may result in cancellation of Points or termination of membership. WOW may refuse to honour the use or redemption of Points where Points are suspected to have been transferred, sold, or used in breach of these Terms and Conditions.

Points are non-transferable and may not be:

  • transferred to another account;
  • sold, traded, gifted, assigned, or otherwise disposed of to another person; or
  • exchanged for value outside of WOW Rewards.

Transfer and Use of Points

Credit Card Surcharges

Credit card surcharges are calculated on the full purchase price before Points redemption is applied. This means surcharges may still apply to the original ticket price even where Points are used to reduce the final payment amount.

From time-to-time, and at its discretion, WOW may offer promotions or bonus Points in connection with WOW Rewards.

Such promotions may:

  • apply only to specific ticket types or performances;
  • operate for limited time periods; and/or
  • be subject to additional terms and conditions.

Where promotional terms differ from these Terms and Conditions, the promotional terms will apply to the relevant offer.

  • how Points are earned;
  • the value of Points;
  • redemption rules;
  • available rewards;
  • programme features; and/or

Where a change materially reduces the value of Points or programme benefits, WOW will endeavour to provide reasonable notice.

Continued participation in WOW Rewards after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.

Programme Suspension or Termination

WOW may suspend or terminate the WOW Rewards programme at any time.

If the programme is discontinued, WOW will endeavour to provide Members with a reasonable opportunity to redeem any remaining Points before they expire.

Technical Issues

WOW will not be responsible for Points not being credited due to:

  • technical malfunctions;
