Show FAQ

Show Information

What are the dates for the 2026 WOW Show?

17 September to 4 October 2026. Shows are on Wednesday–Sunday during this period, there are no performances on Mondays or Tuesdays.

Where is the WOW Show?

The WOW Show is held at the TSB Arena, Queens Wharf, Wellington, New Zealand.

How long is the WOW Show?

The WOW Show is approximately 100 minutes, including the AV presentation. There is no interval during the show.

The Awards Night show includes an awards ceremony which runs for approximately 40 additional minutes. At all performances following Awards Night, there will be a short AV presentation of the awards results after the performance which will take approximately 15 minutes.

Is the WOW Show suitable for children?

While the show's content is suitable for children and they are welcome to attend, we do ask that you consider a few things before making a decision that is right for your whānau:

  • We do not offer children's ticket prices
  • The show runs for approx. 100min with no interval
  • There are flashing lights and loud music
  • All attendees must have a ticket (even if they are sitting on a lap)

Can you accommodate wheelchair access and other accessibility needs?

Absolutely! There is wheelchair and easy-access seating available. Please fill out this form and we will be in touch to assist with a booking.

What happens on Opening Night?

Opening Night is the first public performance of the WOW Show on Thursday 17 September. It's a chance to see the Show before anyone else, and with tickets priced at least $30 lower than Peak, it's a great option for the budget-conscious. The only difference is that the competition winners are not announced at the end of this performance.

What happens on Awards Night?

Awards Night is on Friday 18 September. There will be a live awards ceremony directly following the show, which lasts about 40 minutes. This is a night of celebration, with many of the designers and their whānau attending. The ceremony is NZSL interpreted.

I am looking for accommodation in Wellington, what do you recommend?

We recommend our partner hotels, QT Wellington and Sojourn Apartment Hotel. For further options, we suggest you visit WellingtonNZ.com.

Ticket Information

When will 2026 WOW Show tickets go on sale?

Tickets for the 2026 WOW Show will go on sale on Tuesday 24 March. Sign up to our emails to be the first to know when they do.

Where should I sit?

There are a range of seating options for the WOW Show. If you like to be close to the action, Stageside, Platinum and Gold are fantastic options. If you prefer to sit back and soak up the spectacle, A and B Reserve offer great views around the venue. If you are more budget conscious, C Reserve or Restricted View are good options.

How do I request a specific seat?

When booking online, you will be given the option to either ask the system to choose the best seats available, or select seats yourself.

Are there discounts for Gold Card holders?

While we're not able to offer concession pricing or Gold Card discounts at this time, our ticket prices do vary depending on the performance, which can be a great way to find something that suits your budget. We'd love to help you find the right show. Feel free to get in touch if you'd like some guidance.

Are my show tickets refundable?

Show tickets are non-refundable, except in the rare event that World of WearableArt Limited cancels a show. For full details, please visit our Ticket Terms.

If you'd like some extra peace of mind, ticket insurance is available as an optional add-on at the time of booking.

What happens if I bought tickets but cannot attend the show?

Tickets are non-refundable, but transferable for a $25 fee, subject to availability and approval. If you do not attend the show as stated on your ticket, then no transfer or refunds will be made.

Can I sell my tickets for more than I paid for them?

To keep things fair for everyone, our tickets cannot be resold or transferred for a profit, including through third-party sites like Viagogo. Any resale must be at or below the original face value. For full details, please see our Ticket Terms.

Can someone else use a ticket with my name on it?

Tickets are issued in the booker's name, but if your plans change and someone else needs to use your ticket, that's generally fine - you are welcome to gift or sell your tickets without changing the name on the booking. Just keep in mind that tickets can only be passed on at face value, in line with our ticket terms.

Can I buy tickets and use them as a prize for a competition or giveaway?

As per our ticket terms and conditions, tickets may not be packaged or used to enhance the demand for any goods and services or for any other commercial purposes including advertising, promotions or as a prize in any competition without the written permission of WOW.

I’ve forgotten my password to login to my account, how do I see my booking?

If you’ve forgotten your login password, you can easily reset it by heading to the booking system and selecting the Forgot? button.

You can also reset your password here.

I don’t have an account or a password, can I still book tickets?

Yes. If you haven’t previously booked tickets to a WOW Show, then you will be asked to fill in your contact details when you make your booking. At this stage you will be asked to create an account, which will allow you to log back in and view your booking order at any time.

If you have booked tickets to a previous WOW Show, we may already have your email address on file. In this case, your email address may be recognised at the time of booking and you will be prompted to reset your password. When this happens, simply follow the link to the forgotten password page to create your account accordingly.

If you would like to create an account in advance of booking your tickets, you can do so at any time here.

Are there printed tickets in 2026?

In 2026, all tickets are digital, here's what to expect:

Right after booking, you'll receive an order confirmation email to the address provided at checkout. Your e-ticket and any programme vouchers will then be sent as a PDF in the first week of September.

At the venue, we can scan your ticket directly from your phone, or if you'd prefer, you're welcome to print it out and bring it along.

Can't find your confirmation email? It may have slipped into your spam or junk folder, so it's worth a quick check. You can also log in to your account at any time to review your booking or reset your password.

I forgot to buy a programme when I bought my ticket. Can I still buy one?

Absolutely! You can purchase a WOW Show Programme at any time in the lead up to the show for the early-bird price of $30. Simply head to the booking page if you have booked your tickets under the same email address you will be asked to log in to your account when you check out. You can also buy a Show Programme when you arrive at the arena for $35.
