Anyone intending to enter the World of WearableArt Awards needs to first register to receive a unique designer number. This number is generated by our database and will be required to complete the online entry process. Your designer number stays the same every year and you are not required to register again. Please read through this page of information and at the bottom click the link to register as a designer.
Once you have registered as a designer you will have your own designer profile which you can log in to at any time. To submit an entry to the Competition, simply log in to your designer profile and make your way through the online entry process. This process consists of three steps that require you to supply various information by the relevant deadline. Read more about each step in detail below.
Step 1 involves submitting your intention to enter. All entrants must complete Step 1: Intention to Enter by 26 March 2021 to officially enroll in the 2021 Competition.

A first-time entrant is a designer who has not had an entry selected to appear on stage at a previous WOW Awards Show. At this stage you must have completed your garment/s, ready for the judges to review.
At Step 2: Preselection, entrants are required to submit the following information via the online entry process:
Entrants will be notified of the judges’ decision and successful entrants will be asked to continue to complete Step 3 of the online entry process and send their entries to World of WearableArt in Nelson, New Zealand to participate in the first official judging round.
Returning New Zealand designers are not required to complete Step 2: Preselection and the online entry process will allow them to go straight to Step 3: Complete & Submit Entry when they log in to their designer profile.
Make sure you allow yourself plenty of time to capture your photographs and video of your garment before the deadline
