2025 WOW Show Finale

Love logistics? Ready to solve complex freight puzzles, shipping precious cargo?

We’re on the hunt for a detail-obsessed Logistics Coordinator (0.5 FTE) to help move the magic behind WOW - managing everything from competition garments arriving from 20+ countries to sending extraordinary artworks out into the world for events and exhibitions.

This part-time role is perfect for someone who thrives on variety and problem-solving and gets a kick out of being a logistics magician. One minute you’re working with Mainfreight (our incredible shipping partner) on international container movements. The next, you’re untangling customs paperwork for a three-metre sculptural garment that absolutely must arrive in Wellington on time.

You’ll be the calm, clever problem-solver that our global whanau of wearable art designers cherish, as you ensure their precious wearable art is shipped safely.

The role:

  • Coordinating garment freight for competitions, exhibitions, and special events
  • Managing both international and domestic shipping logistics
  • Solving complex material, customs, and import/export challenges
  • Building great relationships with designers and freight partners
  • Finding smarter, smoother, more creative ways to get things done
  • Supporting the wider Wearable Art and Competition teams on a range of glorious and unexpected things that can only exist at WOW

What you bring:

  • Experience in logistics, freight, or events (international shipping = gold)
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Calm under pressure and adaptable to changing priorities
  • The clearest of communication styles and genuine care for the people you’re helping

Why WOW?

  • Work with deeply passionate people and support talented creatives from all around the world
  • Be part of something extraordinary, that just keeps getting more exciting year after year
