Which performance will my tickets be transferred to?
We will transfer your booking to the same (equivalent) performance week, day and time as per your 2021 booking. Your tickets will be for the same seats in the venue as per your 2021 booking.
Will my booking still include the Souvenir Programme I pre-purchased?
Yes, your entire booking will be transferred to 2022.
Can I change/upgrade my seats for the 2022 Show?
We will be emailing you your 2022 Show tickets early next year at which point you will be able to request to change or upgrade your seats if you wish.
Can I purchase more tickets to the 2022 World of WearableArt Awards Show?
When we email you your new 2022 tickets we will give you the option to add additional tickets to your existing booking. We are hoping to email your 2022 tickets prior to Christmas.
Can we partially refund or transfer our booking?
You must choose to either refund or transfer your entire booking to 2022. We are unable to offer a combination of both. A partial refund will only be made if you choose to gift a portion of the ticket value to WOW. In this situation the balance of the value would be refunded.
When will I receive my new tickets?
Once all transfers have been confirmed we will notify you accordingly and will advise on when you can expect to receive your tickets. Please note that we will be working as fast as we can through this lengthy process, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we do so.
Can you help or advise me on my 2021 travel and accommodation bookings?
Many transportation and accommodation providers are being very supportive about changes or credits. You will need to contact them directly regarding your booking. Please do get in contact with us should you be having significant issues so that we can note this with our Wellington strategic partner WelllingtonNZ.
I have a Ticket Voucher that I have not yet used, can I transfer this to the 2022 Show?
We will extend the validity of unused vouchers for purchasing tickets to the 2022 Show once these tickets go on sale.
Can I still request a refund for the 2021 World of WearableArts Awards Show?
We have now closed off our automated refund process for the 2021 World of WearableArt Awards Show. We asked all patrons to register their preference to apply for a refund by 29 September 2021. If you have not yet registered your preference to refund and you still wish to do so, please email our ticketing team tickets@worldofwearableart.com.
What will happen to my tickets if I didn’t request a refund in time?
Any remaining ticketholders who did not register a preference with us by 29 September 2021 will have their tickets automatically transferred to our 2022 season.
Does WOW have to refund the cost of tickets?
Although the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply in force majeure situations where cancellation is caused by events outside an organiser’s control, there was really no question about offering refunds for our customers. We have been around for over 30 years thanks to the support of fans like you, and we want to see you back again in 2022.

Will I receive a full refund for my booking?
Yes, we will refund your entire booking including all tickets, any add-ons you purchased, the booking fee and the Preferential Fee if applicable. However, we are unable to refund credit/debit card fees or Booking Protect Insurance (if purchased).
Do I need to send you my credit card details for you to process the refund?
No, the details of the credit card used to make the booking are held securely within the banking system and will be used to make the refund.
What if I booked using Account2 Account payment?
You will be asked to securely supply your bank account details so that we can process your refund. We will let you know how to do this in due course.
What if I paid by invoice?
In this case we will be contacting you directly to organise your refund.
If my bank account or credit card details have changed since I made the original booking what can I do?
We will be alerted to this when we process the refund and these will need to be made manually.

How long will it take to process my refund?
We have a large number of bookings to process. Refunds will be processed in the order received. This means that for some customers it could take up to 6 weeks before you will see your refund against your credit card.

By gifting the full or partial value of your 2021 ticket, you are generously supporting WOW to continue to deliver Aotearoa’s largest theatrical production as well as supporting the designers from around the world who are creating breath-taking works of art to enter in the world’s leading wearable art competition.

If I choose to support WOW by gifting the full or partial value of my tickets will I still receive a ticket for the 2022 Show?
No. By choosing the Support WOW option you are generously choosing to gift the money to WOW to help ensure the Show’s sustainability into the future. This is truly appreciated. However if you wish to come to the 2022 Show you will need to then purchase tickets when they go on sale next year.
Can we gift only part of our booking?
Yes, you can choose to gift either the full or partial value of your tickets. The remainder will be refunded to you.
Can we gift only part of our booking and transfer the rest?
No, you must choose to either gift the full or partial value of your tickets and have the remaining amount refunded to you. You cannot transfer part of a booking to the 2022 season.
