Tickets are now on sale for New Zealand’s iconic cultural event – the 2006 Montana World of WearableArt™ (WOW®) Awards Show.
This critically acclaimed event is difficult to describe, hard to define and utterly impossible to forget. A montage of theatre, dance, colour, movement and art, simply put, the WOW® Awards Shows are theatrical spectaculars.
Preferential bookings are open for the September/October event over two weekends and can be purchased through the World of WearableArt™ website at www.worldofwearableart.com
Following the show’s stunning Wellington debut in 2005, there are again eight performances on September 21,22,23,24,28,29,30 and October 1.
The show opens with a WOW preview show at the Events Centre Queens Wharf, Wellington on Thursday September 21, with the Awards announced at the following night’s performance on Friday September 22.
Ticket prices range from $155 through to $65. The introduction of WOW® Star packages last year proved very popular, and will be offered again for the 2006 season. The $155 package includes a best tiered seat in the house, official show programme, supper box and a small bottle of wine or juice.
For the first time, the two Sunday night shows will start at 5.00pm, an hour earlier than previous years.
Demand has already been heavy for tickets to this year’s show, which consistently performs to packed houses.
WOW® CEO Gabrielle Hervey says Wellington fully embraced the show last year, and the company is looking forward to staging the event in the capital again.
