WOW® believe's in fostering a sense of pride and connection with the local community. In addition to the public shows, WOW has a special dress rehearsal performance exclusively for students, senior citizen groups and people with disabilities. In 2006, the dress rehearsal show will also be a fundraiser for two charities that WOW supports – the New Zealand Breast Cancer Research Trust and UNICEF. These charities will sell tickets to the show with half of the proceeds going to these charities.
