The team at World of WearableArt™ is delighted to announce that New Zealand’s leading Supply Chain provider and Manager ‘Mainfreight’ will be supporting 2008 Australian designers by providing freighting of garments from the cities of Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney to the WOW® Offices in Nelson, New Zealand.
These garments will be sea freighted, therefore this offer is targeted to designers creating garments which are cost prohibitive to post. All garments must fit into a box no larger than 1 cubic meter.

Drop off dates are between 19 May 2008 and 24 May 2008. Garments delivered after 24 May will NOT be eligible for this offer. Mainfreight can offer designers from outside the above centers a 25% discount on Australian domestic cartage (e.g. Canberra to Syd / Mel ) if required.
Documentation / Fees:
Designers must complete the required documentation and pay a documentation fee of ( AUD $100.00 ) which covers customs clearance and return handling fee. The contacts above can assist you with completing documentation.
When filling out your documentation please ensure you include the following information:
Note that your garment is a 'Temporary Exhibit'
Use a nominal value for your garment (eg. Less that AUD $100) Please note that this is not a reflection of the true value of your garment, it is merely for customs purposes-you may insure your garment to any value.
Mark your garment as 'Deliver Duty Paid'

Garment Size: The strict standard entry construction requirements apply as per the 2008 WOW® Entry Kit. Garments that exceed the specific height, width and length restrictions will not be accepted.
Packaging of Garments: Designers must securely package their garment as if it is being freighted separately. Garments will be consolidated in a container therefore ensure all packaging shows the ‘top stow’ and is made of materials which are strong enough so other objects can be packed around it – soft cardboard will not be acceptable.
Insurance: Insurance is the full responsibility of the designer. All garments are moved on an Owners Risk basis.
