In October 2001 one of WOW®'s dreams came true with the opening of a permanent home and visitor attraction in Nelson, New Zealand.

The World of WearableArt™ & Classic Cars Museum welcomes over 60,000 local, national and international visitors each year.

This unique visitor attraction ensures Nelson is firmly established as the birthplace of the WOW concept and enables visitors to experience the special WOW experience all year round.

The museum provides visitors with the opportunity to view the historic garment collection in a unique setting. You can enjoy the detail and craftsmanship that designers invest into their garments while also experiencing a theatrical atmosphere with music, lighting and a moving carousel.
